Therapy for Individuals & Families with a specialization in Kids, Teens, Co-Parenting & Type 1 Diabetics

About Me
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in private practice, deeply committed to supporting children and their families. Working with children of all ages is my passion BUT I also enjoy working with individuals in any stage of life.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a first-grade teacher and have raised teenagers of my own, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of child development. Trust me, I know kids can be a challenge, to say the least, and we all need help at times.
I specialize in helping children and individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and behavioral difficulties, as well as transitions like separation, divorce, or moving to a new school or home. I understand that each child’s and adult's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where they feel heard and supported.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each child or individuals needs and often includes a combination of play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and experiential techniques. For children, play is a natural way to process emotions and experiences, and I use it to help them express themselves in a developmentally appropriate and engaging way.
As a Type 1 Diabetic, I also have a personal connection to anyone managing chronic conditions, and I am passionate about providing support and guidance in navigating these challenges.
At the core of my practice is a foundation of compassion, openness, and warmth. If you’re struggling to cope with life’s challenges, I would be honored to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
